alternative final piece. i struggled to get many pictures that captured the vibe of rye lane as i feel and see it. at the time i wasn’t feeling too confident/outgoing, but i caught this from a distance. whenever i think of rye lane, the markets, the fruit stalls, people yelling about produce, this is what comes to mind. i love how the blackness of the building frames the store. the composition is on point. it doesn’t say everything i’d like it to, but it definitely caught something special to me.
community interview with stephen about fast food stores in peckham. i planned to do more of these, however with deadlines looming, it seemed impractical. there are a couple other interviews i’d done on paper, however i’ve lost them.
working with eli was a pleasure. sharp young man, followed direction easily. a natural in front of the camera, obviously.
