The first person to call Shoto by a nickname was Hanta. He doesn't remember the exact day, but it was one of the few days they had off during their first year at UA, before everything exploded.

He remembers that he was in the common room, sitting on the sofa reading a manga. Some of them had extra classes with Aizawa, so everything was pretty quiet. Next to him, Tokoyami and Iida were playing a something he doesn't remember, and the girls were chatting too. Normally he would have stayed in his room until dinner time, but Yaoyorozu had insisted that it would do him good to socialize more with his classmates.

Maybe he was too lost in his reading or his thoughts that he didn’t notice who had shown up. Not until Hanta’s face appeared behind him, leaning on his shoulders with a splendid smile.

“Hey, Roki, you’re here!” There was so much emotion in his voice that Shoto simply felt his chest burst.

The way he pronounced those four letters—the end of his last name—seemed so special that, even though half his body was on fire, he felt his whole being burning. His cheeks flushed, and he could only widen his eyes, leaning his head back against the sofa’s backrest to get a good look at Hanta’s face, which was still smiling so much that his eyes had become two lines. Shoto didn’t smile, but he felt that Hanta’s smile was contagious.

“I'm so glad you're not hiding in your room. Don't ever do that again, okay?”

Shoto could only nod as Hanta walked away, saying something to Kaminari that he doesn't remember. In fact, he doesn't remember anything else from that day, only that he hid behind his manga, feeling his whole face flush red, while his skin prickled and his body trembled slightly.

That was the first time, but Hanta kept doing it. From that day on, he started calling him Todoroki again. It was always Roki, or he’d add words in front of it. Grumpyroki, Iceroki, Prettyroki…

And even though Shoto started to get used to it, he couldn’t help but feel a slight tingle every time Hanta called him that. It made him feel special. After all, besides being the first to call him by a loving name, Hanta Sero has been his first in so many things.

“Hey, come back down to earth.” Hanta’s soft voice snaps him out of his thoughts. “What were you thinking about?”

Shoto curled up against Hanta like a little kitty. They were on the sofa, just finished with the dinner they had ordered, and watching a movie neither of them was paying attention to. It was one of the few nights their jobs as professional heroes left them free, so they were taking advantage of it to just be together.

“I was thinking about the first time you called me Roki.” Shoto looks up to see Hanta’s confused expression.

“What’s that all about now?” Shoto shrugs, and Hanta chuckles softly, wrapping his arms around him so Shoto can sit on his lap. “I don’t even remember when that was.”

“I do, perfectly.” 

“Wow, you were already head over heels for me, huh.”

“I don’t think so. But it was special.” Hanta frowns, and Shoto lets out a giggle at that expression, wrapping his arms around Hanta’s neck to rub his nose against his boyfriend’s. “Say it, please.”

“Roki,” Hanta whispers, completely lost in Shoto’s expression, the way he sighs and squints his eyes, the way a soft smile forms on his lips. Unable to believe that he has in front of him the most beautiful person he’s ever seen in his life.

“Just like I said, special.”

Hanta pulls him close, drawing him in to kiss him desperately while Shoto lets out a little chuckle, because Hanta’s lips are his favorite place in the world. Those lips that call him tenderly by that silly nickname but that mean everything to him.

Lately, I've been really obsessed with Seroroki (with Shoto in general), so yesterday I started writing something about them. I don't know where it'll go, but we'll see.

Shoto knew he was screwed. He’s known it for as long as he can remember. The trauma, the family problems, his own personality, the overwork, the pressure… all of that is what’s screwing him up. When you’re like that, you need to find ways for your brain to disconnect from reality. Some people use meditation or go to the gym, but Shoto lets men older than him fuck him until he’s breathless. For him, sex was like meditation. You can call it daddy issues or just trauma, but when anxiety keeps him from sleeping, he just needs a good fuck to recover.  It was easy, quick, and let him get on with his life. For luck or not, Shoto is way too famous, so there were a lot of guys who got turned on by the idea of fucking the youngest son of the great ex-hero Endeavor, so finding suitors wasn’t hard for him. And in a way, that turned him on too. How would his father feel knowing he’d let himself get fucked hard by some of his former teammates? That would definitely piss him off. It’s not right to fuck guys while thinking about how your dad is going to get mad about it, but it’s clear that Shoto is pretty screwed up. He knows his view of sex isn’t the same as everyone else’s; for him, it’s nothing more than a tool to combat anxiety. Love, connection, feeling at one with another person… those things aren’t for him. He doesn't think he's cut out for it. Although he'd like to. Especially when he sees his friends. One of them, to be exact.

anyways!!! imagine a celebrity!au where sero gets a new phone bc his old phone broke or smth and as he’s walking out the store in the mall he comes across a huge ass billboard/ad for men’s underwear featuring his longtime celebrity crush todoroki shouto baring abs & titties (yessir) and he takes a pic with his new phone (and wow omg look at that improved quality) and sends it to denki BUT bc it’s a new phone he doesn’t have his saved contact so had to type the # in :)))) and he sends off the pic w added commentary (dude he has abs u can bounce a coin off) and he’s expecting a text back w denki commiserating with him bc this is new or groundbreaking (the grass is green, the sky is blue, and sero has a big, fat crush in todoroki) BUT instead he gets “who is this? How did you get his number?” And he has to explain that it’s him sero!! And “denki my # didn’t change is this how I find out you never had my # saved bro 💔 I lost my contacts bro now console me as I cry about how hot todoroki is” and then gets a “wrong number. What do you like about Todoroki?” and oh man it’s sero’s time to write poetry about todoroki and he goes on tangents about todoroki’s soft smiles and the secret charity work he tries to do so his fame doesn’t derail the organizations and how kind he is in fan engagements and how he is so pretty and ahhhh and todoroki, the wrong #, now has to contend with this, this kindness and honesty he never asked for sitting in his phone :)))) wouldn’t that be neat??
