Saying goodbye would always be the worst part of friendship. There was nothing worse than leaving the people you cared about behind, especially if the decision was yours and yours alone. Leaving home was never promised to be an easy task, but the weight of today’s farewells to come sat like cement bricks upon Yuusuke’s shoulders. How could he leave everything he’d ever known? Run off to a far off land where he spoke none of their language, knew little of their culture, and was so far away from the ones he loved?
Why did he want to do this again?
Oh, right. Clothes.
A soft ‘tch’ slipped through the climber’s clenched teeth as he stared at the beady eyes glaring at him in the mirror. Yuusuke hated himself for this decision, and while a part of him knew deep down this was the only way to make himself happy, he wished he had never chosen to leave… but before he could finish his self-loathing, the door swung open and footsteps broke the silence. The biker shut off the tap, shook off his hands, and brushed past the student, not wishing to interact with strangers at this point in time.
The bitter, exhausted boy made his way back to the club room, hands shoved into his pant pockets, mist-colored gaze fixed on the dirt ground beneath his heavy feet. “I’m here,” he mumbled, stepping through the doorway. “Why are we meeting today? We’re supposed to have off, shyo.”
