Today was an encouraging day! Oct 21 is the big ALC kickoff ride, but it was also MY kickoff ride. Here I am in the SF City College parking lot getting comfortable (well, comfortabl-er) on my bike. Not too bad! I can turn and brake now. And I didn’t hyperventilate much. 🎉🎉🎉

Here's the not great news: this is what it looks like when I get on a bike. 😳😭 This video is what my phobia looks like in practice. This is going to be a STEEP learning curve.
