'Portrait of Holger Drachmann' as painted in 1902 by Peder Severin Krøyer in the Skagen community that sometimes is also called a plantation, sometimes called an artistic colony. Drachmann (1846 - 1908) was a Danish poet,, dramatist, and painter. His writings pass the Amazon test of still being in print today, but mainly in German, Danish, Swedish and Finnish. There was one English translation of his short stories.
