Friday, I interviewed for a new job. I really hope I get it. LIKE. I REALLY want to work there. It’s at this clinic that specializes in serving kids and families affected by autism and it’s honestly my dream job. They have so much space and resources and freakin THERAPY GOLDENDOODLES. ON. STAFF.

Working with little kids is such a trip. Like, some are great and some are shits, but that was the same with the elderly, so it’s just humans in general. But the way kids perceive and interact with the world is so fascinating???

This one pre-schooler I see always wants pink paper/markers because she is a princess, but I checked with her yesterday anyway. And she threw her arms out and unsurprisingly said “Yes, pink! Because I am a princess!” But then she lowered her head and quietly said “But I lost my princess powers. I need to get them back.” 

Like????? I just love it so much. They’re so weird and their filters are so thin and it’s amazing.
