Craniofacial Surgery performed by World Leaders at Balaji Dental and Craniofacial Hospital Dr SM Balaji organized the International Live Craniofacial Surgery Workshop at Balaji Dental and Craniofacial Hospital in Chennai, India. World leaders in craniofacial surgical procedures demonstrated their surgical prowess during the four day workshop. Over 200 surgeons from around the world attended the live workshop, which was telecast live from the two operation theaters to the conference hall in the hospital. Dr. S. Ramesh, Pediatric Anesthesiologist, gave an overview regarding managing complications in children. Prof David Precious of Canada demonstrated a cleft lip and palate repair at the workshop. Prof Bodo Hoffmeister of Germany performed a bilateral ramus distractor placement while Prof GE Ghali performed a Le Fort III advancement surgery.
