Okay folks, let's get the spelling straight:

If I peeked, then I looked at something secretively.

If I peaked, then I arrived at the top of a mountain (literally or metaphorically), and the only direction is down.

If I am piqued, then I've been provoked or irritated by something, possibly by someone spelling "piqued" incorrectly.
