Cool! So do I! I love it so much that I decided to host a clothing swap to help other people get free stuff!
I set it up through an organization called Peers.org, which is all about community economy or "sharing economy." Learn more about Peers.Org.
Though it's set up through Peers and open to Peers members, I figured I'd open it to my followers on Tumblr too.
So when is this shindig happening?

Where is this shindig happening?
Providence, Rhode Island. (Message me for further information)
What is a clothing swap? Much like what it sounds like. It's like thrift shopping only without the spending of cash. Before giving or throwing away your unwanted stuff, you bring it to a swap where you can trade for new(ish) clothes, shoes, and accessories. Its a great time, there's usually some snacks and beverages, and your new stuff costs absolutely nada. Though in my experience ladies are often the attendees, this event is open to both ladies and dudes.
What if you don't have anything to give away? No problem! Come anyway, have a snack, a drink, meet some new people. And get some stuff!
What if I have things that aren't clothes? Have some shoes or a backpack you no longer use? Have extra pans you don't know what to do with? Bring it all! You never know what someone may need. And if it isn't claimed, I'm going to donate it all anyway (come on, let me do your work for you).
It's pretty much a win-win any way you look at it.
If you don't live in the RI area, feel free to signal boost this for anyone else who may be interested. Thanks!
