Peeta was really the easiest one to deal with on a day-to-day basis, the other male victor of District 12 more attentive to Haymitch's needs, but that didn't mean it didn't bother the older one at times that he, alike Katniss seemed to wonder into his house whenever they felt like it. Right now, he didn't have a drop left to drink and he was feeling sick to his stomach, not to mention even easily agitated. So as soon as the boy wandered into his living room, he puffed out a harsh breath before grunting, "At least tell me you brought something to drink."
These dry spells were the worst, and he couldn't take a bite of the bread Peeta brought dutifully every day without easing the burning in his body and throat.
