Watched the first Hunger Games movie this weekend, and had this jumble of thoughts relative to Katniss & Peeta-

• She is everything. He is Just Ken.

• They're like if Reagan Ridley and Brett Hands grew up in hell. Yes, autistic Katniss. Yes, himbo Peeta. I want to see them work for a shadow government together

• Katniss could have, and should have, been weirder. I support Katniss Rights and Katniss Wrongs

• Shipping them is... fine... but platonic soulmates Katniss & Peeta would've been everything. Real to me.

• Why is there no good ship name for them? Surely somebody found SOMETHING better than Peeniss or Peetniss. I'm not calling them Peeniss.

• I guess 'Kata' would've been okay, but like... eh.

• Unpopular opinion- Gale and Peeta are both fine. I don't hate either of them. Gale might be a stale piece of bread, but that's okay, because so am I. Peeta is like a princess to me.

I don’t think Gale does a single redeeming thing throughout all of mockingjay. Peeta’s been hijacked and he still remembers katniss’s favorite stew and gives her a can

during this quarantine i rewatched the hunger games movies and could you imagine how great they would have been if they had casted actual teenagers and showed the actual impact the hunger games made on them, including an amputated leg, a deaf ear and PTSD??
