Buying this phone case is not going to make you more environmentally conscious. Trying to make environmentalism woke and hip amuses me.

Pela Case failed
I want to love #pelacases. I really do. It is sort of a perfect thing for me. But, they failed.
I ordered my case several weeks ago. At first it went normal, then it all went sideways. You see, the company is in Canada, and they ship from Utah. So, customer service is disconnected at best.
My case was initially NOT given a tracking number. Then it was given a tracking number. UPS said it was handing it off to USPS for delivery. This was 2 weeks ago. USPS does not have the case. UPS confirmed that they got it, but have no idea where it got to.
So, that is a failure of the logistics system of course. But, where Pela failed is in their communication. They have stopped responding. They do not have a phone number. So, I cannot begin a delivery investigation to try to get a claim and refund from UPS.
I get this, probably better than 90 percent of the people. But, failing to communicate is terrible. It allows me to say, PELA CASE STOLE MY MONEY.
THere are reviews all over the internet that echo this same thing. But, Pela cherry picks the reviews on their site (totally there right to do) so that they look like all stars. This is a company that has gotten a ton of press, and I am wondering about their supply chain.
So, Shaylee Austin, and Sarah Hertz...you can step up and respond. That would be cool.
