Pelagic cormorant just bein' bird. Bein' real bird. All it can be is bird. 100% genuine bird made entirely from authentic bird components including feathers and beak. . Although some birds do have a capacity to be disingenuous, like how some cowbird will lay an egg in another birdmamas nest and the imposter child bird continue the grift from the from birth and live in this other species family without them even knowing. There's a real creepy documentary about a human who did something similar. Pretended to be the missing child if some family. I don't think they were ever even sure if he was an imposter or not. Other birds do weird trickery like pretending to be hurt or farting and blaming the dog. . Anyway, I don't think cormorants do any of that nasty and dishonorable business that some other birds do. Plus even bad birds are way better that humans. Like, I think the worst bird there ever was would probably just be kind of considered a jerk by human standards. . I wonder who the worst bird who ever lived was, though? That would be fun to discuss with Hitchcock and Poe. They seemed like big bird fans.
