The Pelvis
The pelvis of a bird, like mammals and most other classes, is where the legs attach to.
As with the keel, the pelvis size and shape varies per species.
Part of the pelvis is called the synsacrum, this is the part of the spine that holds the pelvis together.
The pelvis of a bird is often mistaken for a skull, as are other bones.
