The last one isn't for me though, but rather my mother who's been wanting this plant for awhile. This is the most expensive plant I've bought under 4in (all of these are 2in).

I'm not particularly concerned with if this is the right plant for this pot nor the right way to orient it in the pot.... I just think it's a cool "plant growing out of a skull" look.

#the pot is plastic with a fake drainage hole #i had to pop an additional hole in the bottom and decided to put this in there because it's small enough and I thought would look nice #my mother said something that looks like hair and... man #I'd like to put succulents in things like these but my succulent soil is made for use in terracotta specifically...#the sand will just not be the same in plastic #somedays I consider dabbling in pumice and trying growing succulents in plastic and glazed #cus there so many little pots that would be perfect with succulents #a skull feels like the perfect pot for a succulent... very deserty aesthetic there #plantblr #plants #houseplants #vines #pellionia

I've been waiting and waiting... fearing this plant was just going to die because two of the branches did die. Finally, there's new growth!

#plantblr #plants #houseplants #vines #pellionia #gotta water these ones very carefully #i should have suspected from the thick leaves and succulent stems #it probably doesn't help that it flowered when I got it in #idk sometimes plants do that... flower and try to kick the bucket #it's a good thing this decided to continue on cus I was determined to grow it and I would have bought a new one #i do think the thrips got to it and that might have been part of the problem #but since I've just been preventatively spraying fucking everything it's been ok
