If, seeing yourself drowning in unjust wealth, you consider yourself happy, and seeing those who seek wisdom struggling with poverty as if with a terrible beast, know that what you believe about them is actually happening to you. And if you do not feel this way, it is no wonder; for even those possessed by demons, doing what they do in their madness, consider themselves happy while mocking the healthy.
All those who set aside and amass riches are poor, and even worse than all the poor, for they will be cast into the grave naked, like carcasses thrown upon the road.

Pelusium.
The Great Theater at Pelusium, Egypt
Pelusium was on the easternmost mouth of the Nile River which silted up sometime around the 1st century BC. In the Bible the city is called Sin and was “the stronghold of Egypt”- (Ezekiel 30:15). In the 7th century BC, Pelusium was the main frontier fortress against Palestine and was a customs post for Asiatic goods. In 525 BC the Persian King Cambyses II defeated the Saite pharaoh Psamtik III there. During the periods of Egyptian independence from Persia (28th–29th dynasty), it was a vital defensive center. In Roman times it was a station on the route to the Red Sea. The visible ruins date from the Roman period.
Pelusium is known as modern Tell Farama and it lies about 20 miles southeast of Port Said in the Sinai Peninsula.
