Boga wanted cubs and even though they could conceive, she is sex repulsed and Dhoruba is more than ok with that, so them both were looking into adopting. Good luck for them is that Dhoruba ends up finding little Pembe alone hiding in the snow after a bad storm hit the border. She wanted it to be a surprise for Boga, so the cub was staying with her father's pride for a while, but Pembe was already curious about their new mothers, so they ended up sneaking under Dhoruba's mane one day.

Pembe means "ivory". They are non-binary and use they/them. Their design is inspired by this scan

Bana sormuştun ya hani, "gitmek mi zor kalmak mı?" diye. Cevap vermemiştim bende. Bu yazıyı hiç okuyamayacaksın ama cevabım bu satırlarda olucak. Ve ben karanlık gece de gökyüzündeki yıldızı görüyorum, O ışıktan fazlasını istemiyorum. Sadece o ışık yeter diyip; koca bir karanlıkta, sana getireceğim o çiçeği arıyorum.
