how can i change my pen button settings from eyedrop to zooming? its a real inconvenience for me because i've been so used to using my pen buttons as zooming tools..
No, you can only change it to eraser.

Note: While Ani is, of course, correct about the settings in FireAlpaca itself, depending on your pen manufacturer you might be able to set a pen with two side buttons to Ctrl and + (or ; on some laptops) and Ctrl and -, using the pen/tablet software - these are shortcut keys for zoom in and zoom out.
Alternatively, set a pen side button to right-mouse button or right-click, and right-drag in the Navigator window to zoom.
I like to also set File menu, Environment Setting, Zoom by Dragging to Smooth Zoom, which gives smooth zooming by right-dragging in the Navigator, instead of using preset zoom levels (33, 50, 66, 100, 150, 200, etc).
