there ARE examples of murder, violence, gore, etc that have been romanticized, it's just that most media doesnt depict them as such because its common sense that theyre bad, and shippers are so ignorant and used to this that they fail to realize that theyre using false equivalencies because they didnt get the memo that pedophilia falls under that "common sense bad" category. just look at fight club and the nationwide fights it's caused and the barrage of exploitation films available
