I’m like still really bitter that mob didn’t win the pointless ass crunchyroll award fro best art. I’m a firm believer in the best should win, not your favorite. mob is so good in ways that it expanded the animation industry but also it looked so damn good? ...I digress

but the first time I watched mob I wasn’t wild about it and then when I crawled into the second episode, I was super into it and I want to get into the manga but I’m sooo lazy. it’s good but I think season one of the anime should have moved a little faster. I’m really excited for season two though!!

iris - favourite 90s song?Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh I dunno? Honestly I don’t really like 90s music all that much???

hydrangea - proudest moment?This is a weird one bc my memory is bad and I have a hard time with memories but ANYWAY it was probably my very last day working at my campus Starbucks. The assistant managers always really liked me and were sad to see me leave, and my favorite manager gave me a hug and offered to write me a recommendation letter if I ever needed one and idk he was just a really nice dude and my last day was fun and it made me feel nice that I’d had such a positive impact on the store ;v;

hmmm frankly, like most people, I hate when movies couple characters. like oh shit, these two mains get together, so these two rando side characters have to get together. like please, they don’t have to. they said five words to each other the whole movie.

and for favorite, I’m a softy who loves found family? I also love the concept of kindness saves the world, as in in the kubo ending and earthbound???

If I may suggest a new game, The World Ends With You is really cool. The battle system takes a little getting used to but you can leave part of it on auto so you don’t have to master it. I like the story/characters and the style/music is great

Hiya T! rn I'm trying to convince my brain to apply for this art gig even tho I don't feel I meet 100% what they want. Looking forward to mlog :D do you think one day you'll take requests for movies to talk about?

NURA MY BUD, listen. in the summer of 2016 I was debating pitching to zeal and a friend was like what’s the worst that can happen? you get rejected. oh well, you have experience pitching and something and you move on, art centric jobs are filled with rejections. and this is what I’m gonna tell you, apply! if it feels daunting, try setting a timer for three minutes and working on applying until the three minutes are up. if you feel like you can keep going, have at it! that’s usually what I do when my anxiety gets the best of me and it has helped a few other people I know too

and Yes! right now I have a list of things I want to talk about (i.e. does pleasntville make up for spiderman 3?, do I actually really like handmaiden or am I just a big lesbian?, and just an ode to fifth element’s world building) but eventually I’m gonna run out of ideas! also if I ever build up the funds, I want to be able to hire other people to write pieces since I am about helping out other writers as well as bringing up exposure!

my latest song obsession is Weight in Gold by Gallant. I've also gotten really into Hozier, and if you like Regina Spector you might enjoy Vienna Teng (it's hard for me to pick a fave album but Inland Territory has good variety)
