If you had to choose one: Assassin's Creed or Uncharted?
Saturday Sleepover: send me anything!
*slams “Uncharted” option*
Because while yes, I do love Assassin’s Creed series and would love to work on them much more and maybe even rewrite the timeline and story they currently use... I’m going to choose Uncharted because it’s so much more close to me, to my heart.
top 3 video games that made you really invest in the story line, or pulled you into it's world.
Saturday Sleepover: send me anything!
Oh my that is hard. Like, my current favourite is Uncharted, as in all series, but I’m having such a horrible trouble over differentiating what I like more: my own interpretation of the series and its characters and storylines, or the so-called canon one. So I guess I’ll my current three faves? With me mostly being worked up about them.
1) Fallout: New Vegas (and some parts of Fallout 2 and 4, I never played 3);2) Dragon Age, second one especially, and I am so planning on rewriting it;3) Saints Row, second one being the best thing ever happening tbh
Also a deep cut into my life as a gamer implemented such games as Oddworld series, Mass Effect, Assassin’s Creed, Neverwinter Nights (the first one, I still have not finished second one), The Elder Scrolls (Oblivion esp), and Bioshock... Alright, I just can’t stop when I’m talking about games, because they ALL are so different and I love them all!!

THOSE SHOES! <333
Right? I need them!
WHO ELSE WOULD NATYA BANG OTHER THEN BLACKWALL AND VARRIC???
Lmao okay so like....probably Iron Bull, but she is so nervous to approach him at first cause he’s ben hassrath and thinks he’s gonna trick her and make her a saarabas
There’s also Sera! She and Natya are like best friends, but I can’t get rid of that nagging feeling there was some sexual/romantic tension in the beginning (but they both ended up with someone they love!)
From the other dragon age games, I think Natya and Merrill would def get along (Fenris hates mages and Isabela is very wary towards qunari) and I think they’d be a really cute couple especially with the height difference.
From Origins? I think maybe Sten, but thats a big if, since he is very much a devout qunari (as far as I know).
1, 4-5, 15, and 19 for the video game asks 👌
1. Do you try to stay away from walkthroughs?Generally, yeah. I tend to only look at them if I’m reeeeally stuck...like when I played the first Breath of Fire game and had no idea where I was supposed to be going half the time. I prefer to explore/work things out myself because it’s more fun that way!
4. Worst game you've ever played?Hmm...I’m hesitant to describe them as the “worst” as a lot of people do like them, but the games I enjoyed the least were probably Final Fantasy XII, XIII, and Type-0. Simply because I wasn’t sufficiently gripped by the gameplay, characters or narrative, so I didn’t get very far with any of them (and I did try again with FFXII and XIII, but still couldn’t get into them).
5. A popular series/game you just can't get into no matter how much you try?Anything like CoD or Battlefield. It’s just not the kind of game I’m into.
15. Which two games do you think would make an awesome crossover?@flore-purpureo already said it, but Mass Effect and Dragon Age would be pretty cool. I’d quite enjoy Dragon Age/Elder Scrolls, too.
19. Which game do you think deserves a revival? The Golden Sun series! I loved the first two games, and the third wasn’t half bad either...though it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. So it’d be great to find out what happened there, and while it’s not the most original story in the world, there are some neat ideas in there, and it’s a fun series for anyone who likes JRPGs.
Rinn is so cute! And I'm always a sucker for mage Hawkes, aka Harrett. But Lary!! As soon as I read chubby/stocky i'm smitten. Like please spill the awkwardness of Lary! He fell in love with Aveline!? How did he feel when he found out how she felt about Donnic?
OMG, I’m so happy to hear all of that, and I bet these three would be glad to hear such things too ♥ And yep, Lary is the most awkward Hawke ever existing.
He has problems reading sarcasm/humour in general, like, he could understand some harmless joke as an insult to people around him, and unless someone can convince him otherwise and explain the humour, he’d either start a rant or ask the person to face him so he can properly deck them for the insult. Lary is also the one to turn back to his companions and ask ‘was that a pun?’ when talking to someone. He also has problems as in understanding flirting, as in flirting himself. While he fell in love with Aveline during their year of working their way to live in Kirkwall, Hawke had big time troubles trying to explain his feelings to lady Vallen. What made matters worse were influence of Isabela, with whom Lary made acquaintance before canon/in-game introduction, and who while trying to help her new friend with his love life made matters worse. Also introduced herself to Aveline in the most undignified matter – while hanging out from ceiling and trying to deliver a fake love letter. Isabela, I think, never ran so fast from a guard because even in full armour Aveline could keep up with her! Lary had a really uncomfortable conversation with Vallen right afterwards, because Isabela literally hid behind him.
And… well… he did not feel exactly great about it. He really tried to express himself better, and even finally made Aveline laugh at his stories, which was a good one in his book, and she loved his gifts… But in the end, Lary saw that she had eyes for another man. He still tried, but only once – “but couldn’t we be something?” to which Aveline laughed (and how it hurt), but then realised that Hawke was serious, and apologized the best she could. Still wasn’t enough.
But Lary was happy in the end to see her smiling and holding her husband by hand and each of them gazing at each other with loving eyes. Of course, he had a “serious conversation” with Donnic where he explained where exactly he will end if Aveline would ever be displeased with him. Still these two made great friends, and these three (with addition of Merrill, Isabela or Fenris sometimes) have dinners together at times. Lary overcomes his crush on Aveline, and has a short-term relationship with Isabela, but nothing more and he still adores the beautiful guardswoman.
pendeltons replied to your post “Fact about my oc! Leto, my Hawke, doesn't really believe in the Maker....”
The Chantry makes her uncomfortable to say the least. When it uses it's resources to help the people, and not just humans, then it's cool with her. But when it starts flexing it's control and authority that has NOTHING to do with it, just sticking it's nose in other groups business then they've become too powerful. You said Athim isn't aggressive but does he ever speak out? Or let his opinion about the Chantry be known? How did he feel with some of his companions who a
That makes sense! It sounds like Leto has a very fair opinion of the Chantry! How does she handle people preaching to her, if that happens at all? Did she get along with Sebastian (if you played that dlc)?
Athim is even-tempered so he’ll comment on any hypocrisy but he won’t throw accusations or judgement at individuals. I think he’d be open to discussing his opinions but would disengage once someone tried converting him (this being one of the reasons he’s uneasy around cassandra and mother giselle). Because he’s so diplomatic any debating would be gentle questions on his half that’d appeal to reasoning/morality.
