🌊The seashore late at night, with lightning over the water in the distance
Something perilous had appeared in Noah’s eyes - whether it was the reflection of the nearing thunderstorm, or something hidden deep inside of Noah himself? That hadn’t become quite apparent yet.
Either way - he had been sitting by Chris’ side for quite some time now, deeply blue eyes trained on the water in front of them. There was nothing left of the amber color that one would usually see when looking into his eyes - at this point? Noah had become more ocean than man, and it was only his friend, right here by his side, who quietly, probably unknowingly, reminded him to listen to his human heart, rather than the wild, roaring sea in his soul.
A deep breath as Noah blinked the blue away, shaking off the invisible hand of the ocean. When he turned his head to look at Chris again, there was a smile on his face, steady enough to fool even the most observant one into believing that Noah was nothing but your regular boy next door.
“... you’re not scared, are you?”, half teasingly, nudging Chris with his ellbow.
