how do pendulums for classpecting even work? i wanna learn how to do them

You ask a pendulum (basically, anything you can hold as it dangles; I use a necklace) a yes or no question, and see how it swings. Depending on the swing, that’s your answer. Each pendulum can be different, so when you’re still working with your pendulum, make sure you ask it to show you a yes or no. Hope this helps! - Mod Rose

Hey fellow witches, I need advice! Is it possible for your own energy to influence your pendulum readings or any other readings? My pendulum likes to tell me what I want to hear and not the truth. I still adore my pendulum but I'm wondering what's something I can do to avoid my emotions or energy from interfering with my pendulum Thank you! <3

hey i saw you do pendulum readings! i actually have a question about them if that's ok? i have a pendulum, but whenever i use it, it won't even budge a bit. i'll hold my hand still, ask a question, but it won't move at all, i also hold it in the correct way. i was wondering if you knew something that could be of help?

Hi! While I am no pendulum expert, I do have a few tips you could try:

Cleaning and charging your pendulum (e.g by using salt, leaving it out in the moonlight etc) or try forming a better relationship with your pendulum by sleeping with it under your pillow or wearing it as a necklace. Also, if you’re not feeling 100%, that can sometimes have a negative impact on your reading ability. Try taking a break and come back to it later. Also try calibrating your pendulum before asking it a question (do this by asking it to show you the movement it uses for yes, no and maybe). Hope this helps!
