Ruby sighs softly wincing at both the disapproval and worry on her friends face and the slight movement required to go into the front door.
She’d been out training with Gladios and then insisted she’d be fine walking home alone, which he begrudgingly allowed. She was perfectly fine until she found herself face to face with a full dropship of niflheim soldiers. She’d taken them down and blocked a good bit of their attacks but even her abilities had limits.
Now after all of that happening she had apparently had plans with Penelope and had somehow forgotten. She was grateful however that either Prompto was somehow sleeping through this or was out with the guys, she didn’t need him worrying either. “Hey..sorry that I’m late, I forgot we had plans to hang out. Please don’t worry about all this” she spoke, weariness in her voice as she placed a hand on her worried friends shoulder.
Gesturing to the bruises and tears on her clothing “Trust me, you should see the other guy…well guys..I promise, I’m fine, just need a hi-elixir and a hot shower”
