The Demo is releasing EARLY! Get ready for May 30th!
30 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH. To celebrate, here's a new trailer!
Going to the Nancy Drew convention this past Friday was an AMAZING experience! It was so fun to be able to just go up to anybody and start a conversation by asking "So what's your favorite ND game?"
I was shocked how many of the people (under 50 years old) knew about Penelope Pendrick! It was so cool to have people come over and talk about the demo, or to click around on one of the computers I had set up. This was the first time I met Penelope fans in real life!
I also got to meet some very cool ND creators like Jhaneen from Nancy Drew Animated, and Avery from True Drew Podcast (I bought a cool Moon Lake sweatshirt from her).
There were a lot of really good talks and presentations. I saw a clip from the documentary "Nancy Drew: The Case of the American Icon" and it looked extremely good. There was a Q&A with some of the illustrators of the cover art for the Nancy Drew books from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. And there was even a TYPEWRITER guy. He came over and identified the real typewriter I had brought as a prop for my table as one almost identical to the style that Mildred Wirt Benson (The first Carolyn Keene) used to write some of the Nancy Drew books! There was also a talk from HeR Interactive!
Speaking of HeR, they had a table almost right next to mine. Indy and Brighella were there and towards the end of the day I finally had a chance to chat. I couldn't believe they already knew who I was! I talked with Indy a good long while. She is SO chill and so nice, she even stayed later to help me pack up my stuff!
I'm already looking forward to next year in Chicago!
