Robin Lord Taylor has been an absolute breakthrough superstar on Gotham, bringing new life to the Penguin. Taylor’s fresh and modern take on the character has been one the highlights of the series going into its fifth (and final) season. Knowing that the curtain’s are drawing to a close soon, FanSided asked the versatile actor if he’d be open to a Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot spinoff after Gotham officially wraps up.
Not only did Taylor reply with a emphatic yes, and that they need to tell him soon before he buzzes off his hair and goes back to blonde, but he added he’d be there “in a second” if the fans and higher-ups wanted it. Taylor mentioned how fans today can voice their desire for a character to come back these days on social media. Time to get hashtag #PenguinSpinoff trending, Gotham fans!
