In the spirit of Hilary Hahn’s sharing bits of her practice through her violin case’s instagram feed, I’m sharing a 3-minute improvisation created as part of my practice with live webcams. The images and movement on the webcam (in this case, penguins under water at the Aquarium of the Pacific), serve as as sort-of duet partner. Sometimes we’re working together, and sometimes we’re not.
