Crystal Crescent Beach / Pennant Point trail, Nova Scotia

A classic and beautiful hike that starts at Crystal Crescent beach and follows the water for the majority of its 13km return loop.
The beauty of the trail is that you have great views and can turn around at any point if not feeling up to doing the entire distance (as we did this day) and still see amazing Nova Scotia scenery - much like Duncan's Cove.
To most people, CC is a place to visit in the summer, but I would take the empty beach in the other 10 months of the year any day. These pics were taken in late November 2012 and as you can see, I had the place basically to myself. It was unseasonably warm at +10 C so it was especially nice.
