so like. not only was this purposefully low-effort advertisement complete with crayon scribbles & default fonts an implication of just how much alastor could not give a shit-

but in my eyes it was also yet another underhanded jab at vox before we're even introduced to him in the show. EVEN THE WINDOW STICKERS LMFAO i am so irrationally convinced every detail of this commercial is a mirror/targeted attack.

the fact these are all from episode 1s as well like. side eyes.

who hijacked whose style here i need to know. automatic assumption would be vox but in my head this is totally alastor just mimicking vox's personal style for shits & giggles.

anyway i'm insane because this man came back after 7 years of being off the grid & stewing over his loss of power in the public eye & one of the first things he did was make a callout post about his ex that was subtle enough that only two people (three if val is squinting) would understand. he's so petty oh my god

was gonna make some sort of commentary about vox FINALLY donning the hearts that val & vel sport all throughout both seasons right at the moment when he pushes them furthest away (& out of the show: cue vox dei) but then i noticed.

VEL WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOUR HEARTS. i’ve stared at her in this fit from every shot & angle (hehe) but i cannot for the life of me spot one. unless the angular shape of the top is meant to emulate a heart but like i went through every. single. vel fit. in the show. & they all have at least one easily identifiable heart BESIDES THIS ONE.

okay so at first i totally thought the implication here was that al is still totally convinced vox wanted him on his team purely for power/transactional purposes despite vox’s insistence otherwise (which he very likely later backtracked on anyway in an attempt to not make it look like al crushed both his dreams and his heart). hence the lies comment bc al thought vox being genuine about their relationship was a total cover up for what he really wanted from him.

BUT LIKE NOW THAT I’M THINKING ABOUT ALL THE POSSIBILITIES-

my delusional ass is wondering whether this is a potential dig at vox’s history. like if he totally made up the cult leader in life backstory (if anyone knows me they know i’m a huge advocate for the vees-were-irl-losers theory), then this line here is such a poignant way for al to both say “you’ve been full of shit since literally day 1 here & i totally see through every bit of ego-inflating nonsense you’re putting on” but also “hey i’m also the only one you trusted to know this insanely vulnerable thing so what does that really say about this bizarre situationship”

if they aren't setting up for charlie's series of voicemails detailing all of her plans to somehow come back to bite her in the ass i will be FLOORED. like yeah the girl's an open book but literally all her thoughts, feelings, & objectives with the hotel are just laid out there in audio diary form. absolutely diabolical if it's lilith who throws it back in her face though. or better yet, if the faceless, voiceless woman we see with the phone is actually an imposter who learns how to play lilith + manipulate charlie & lucifer through the vulnerable messages they leave behind

was hazbin yapping with @lunchtimebedamned1997 & a few friends & was reminded of this!! unfinished thought!! that has been festering in my drafts (AND BRAIN) for over a year!!

anyway i need all the vees to have been the absolute biggest LOSERS in life which is why they compensate for it in the afterlife with a bizarre combo of heinous shit & cartoonishly evil buffoonery. i’m talking 0 earth kill count between the three of them. the absolute hilarity & moral conundrum it presents when you place them side by side with the hazbin crew—who as of right now consists of 2 murderers + 1 murder peeper—would make me insane i fear
