Pennsbury Manor, 1683, reconstructed in 1939 when there was renewed interest in colonial American history. Pennsbury is the home of William Penn, founder of Philadelphia and was meticulously reconstructed from the surviving foundations thanks to William Penn’s extremely detailed notes and letters he wrote to friend James Harrison during the construction of the manor. #pennsylvania #pennsbury #pa #history (at Pennsbury Manor)
