✈️Fortunes for Travel Spell*✈️

This travel spell is dedicated to @imbelial! Whose blog is absolutely beautiful guys you should definitely check it out!

What you’ll need:

Cloth

A penny

Clove- wealth and warding negativity

Dill seeds- money

Comfrey- safe travels

Burdock- protection

What to do:

Place the herbs inside the cloth and fold the cloth into a square. Dig a small hole into your yard or back and put the herb filled cloth into the hole; then place the penny on top and repeat the following incantation:

When you happen upon a penny on the ground pick it up w ur left hand and say

"penny penny in my hand, bring to me my hearts demand" (have something in mind while you do this)

Then switch it to your right and and throw it over your left shoulder

Speculation. Witchcraft PSA I guess.

Stop using fucking pennies. Seriously though. They’re worthless and they make your spell worthless. Think about it. If you saved a penny every single day for a year you’d only end up with $3.65. If you want good positive results, use a higher denomination. Our economy isn’t SO bad that you would struggle to throw together a dozen quarters. Gold and silver dollars aren’t that hard to find either. If you’re using them for the copper, you should probably cut apart and melt some old wires, or outmoded phone chargers or whatever. because they use a higher quality of copper.

Pennies are good for subtlety, like if you want your savings to accumulate in such a way that you won’t notice (because it’s taking forfuckingever with very little return) or if you want to curse someone to poverty I suppose. Pennies are underwhelming, they’re something that you underestimate and undervalue. They can be used as

Who decided that pennies are good for magic?

I mean sure, back in the 17th century when they were worthwhile monies. Or even during the depression. But now? "Wow, glad that I could at least afford to pay off the interest on my credit card this month" "Okay. If I can make this bag of Hershey kisses last me 8 days I'll be able to eat regularly 9until payday" When you fear that you're on your on your last legs, when out of the corner of your eye you spy something green lying in a gutter, your eyes glisten with tears, an entire $1 bill! Things are finally looking up! #pennymagic At least use quarters or silver dollars if you can, you cheapskate drama queen witchbitches.
