An absolutely adorable Penny from a beautiful webcomic that I've been following for a while, made by @Toastchild.

She's Pan, she loves baking, she has pink hair. She ran into a cute girl in a grocery store and almost immediately confessed her love, panicked, and said she was talking to the beans before running away. When she saw her the second time, she ran away Again, dropping her bag and accidentally kidnapping a dog in the process. Also she makes an Awesome cake!

Will Penny is a 1968 American Western film written and directed by Tom Gries and starring Charlton Heston, Joan Hackett and Donald Pleasence. The picture was based upon an episode of the 1960 Sam Peckinpah television series The Westerner starring Brian Keith called "Line Camp," also written and directed by Tom Gries. Heston mentioned that this was his favorite film in which he appeared.

I thought her computer book was the coolest thing ever. What preteen nerd girl doesn't want to save the day with a high-tech hardcover?

Miniature detective solving crimes and saving the day with her pet dog, Brain. Her uncle tends to get the credit for all the times she thwarts their city's supervillain, but she loves him a lot so she doesn't seem to mind (even if she gets frustrated with him sometimes). Also, I just find the trope of "seemingly normal kid keeps saving the day with relative ease while the adults get up to hijinks" to be hilarious. She's also a tech whiz and becomes an agent-in-training; what more could you want from a Penny?
