I need a tier list of which characters would refuse to hit a woman. Tiers like "has canonically hit a woman", "hasn't shown to, but would", and stuff like that. Megaman might be a little weird because of Splash Woman.

my immediate suggestion is Merlin Prower. he doesn't quite have the personality but he fills basically the same role in the world. alternatively, if you're not using him for anything else you could maaaaaaybe use Geoffrey, if you wanna lean into certain developments with him from late in the series

Unfortunately, I don’t know them too well, either. I’ve never played Sonic Advance 3 or Sonic Battle (though I do actually own the latter), and I haven’t seen enough of Sonic X to make up for it. I did see that one heartbreaking episode where Cream and Cheese had to put Emerl down, and that was...oof. I still cry when I see that scene.

I’m caught up through IDW #80 and its spinoffs, plus the IDW one-off comics (Sonic, Tails, and Amys 30th anniversary specials, etc.)

I know bits and pieces of Archie, but I’ll never read the whole thing. Here’s a post where I talk about Shadow and Amy’s interactions in those comics.

I love Amy’s design in the Fleetway comics, but I have no plans to read them in full.
