hi i’ve been working on these models on and off since like january and now they’re finally ready to see the freaking world. lets get this money (all the important stuff including links is under the post cut!!!!)
this is going to be a really long post so this cut will be pieced into sections… you get it
avatar features
both have:
functional 2d visemes for all vowels and most consonants (some reused)
eyebrow (raised, lowered, sad, angry, and, in the case of smack, none) and mouth expression (smile, grin, frown, bleh) toggles
dance toggles! (eight currently, possibility of more being added in the future. most are fortnite dances — the toggle menu for both includes the default dance, the take the L dance, orange justice, the griddy, gangnam style, california girls, electro shuffle, and boogie down)
gogo loco (for those unfamiliar with vrchat or goloco itself it’s a big menu on your avatar’s radial menu that makes it easier to pose yourself sitting or other stuff like flying around)
hoodie drawstring and earring physbones (drawstrings/earrings obtain movement physics when you move around and can also be grabbed by players in vr)
comical teardrop toggle (smack has no visible eyes so i wanted to offset his inherent lack of eye toggles by giving him a funny teardrop if you want to funny cry on demand)
avatar usage
i don’t really care what you do with my avatars in game since this is vrc and all but just don’t reupload them, claim as your own, ETC etc you get it. credit would be appreciated if you post content involving them but it’s not a requirement since credit is already native to the uploads on vrc anyways
i do not claim to be a professional modeler and some of my topo/uvs/etc might be really fucked up. i made these for fun and these 2 avatars will continue to receive tweaks over the next month or so depending on how nitpicky i feel. things might break, please contact me if you notice something weird (like unintended facial clipping and such)
also these are very much stylized to my own art style slash slash the way i draw these two and are not intended to be 100% design compliant
other stuff i feel is important to include anyways
i do not currently take modeling requests since i don’t have consistent motivation/energy and don’t want to lead anyone on with promises that i am unable to fulfill; please don’t ask me if i can “make (insert character here)” - the answer is more than likely no ^^”
if you happen to be a minor please for the love of god be careful if you decide to use vrchat. i do not explicitly want to encourage/discourage people from using vrc but especially if you’re a minor please don’t join public servers on there, it’s really not worth the time nor is it worth the risk. there are a lot of genuinely weird people on vrc and vrc is best played in private instances with friends or people you know (and also a lot of content on vrc is not particularly family-friendly either way)
neither are indexed to prismic at the moment but i'll get around to it within the next week or so
