About a month ago I finally watched @thepostmovie I worked in #newspapers for 7 years so films about this industry intrigue me. But this movie was different for a lot of reasons. A critical point in the film has tons of relevance today. 47 years ago on this date, #SCOTUS freed @nytimes and @washingtonpost to resume publishing the #PentagonPapers thereby precluding publisher #KatherineGraham (#merylstreep) and editor #BenBradlee (#TomHanks) from having to “go to prison.” Newspapers and media continue to be challenged. Great story. Great film. Watch it. #HaveNoFear

【ほぼ永久不滅¥1,200-のピカデリー。でも日比谷が気になる。】 ペンタゴン・ペーパーズ 最高機密文書観た。 ・ 今ではコンプライアンスで守秘義務なんかが厳しくて機密文書など持ち出しが厳しいが、いざ持ち出しなんぞが出来たら匿名でネットにばら撒き放題になり、報道ならぬワイドショーの恰好のネタになり途中から的が外れて来て有耶無耶になり、世間の評判も一気に冷めて、また別のネタが徐々に盛り上がって“それ”は知らず知らずに風化していく。 この今の現状を鑑みるに中国は徹底しているな！と良くも悪くも思う。 ・ ところで、大戦後から70年代までのアメリカは多民族国家だったからこそ、ある意味悪い暴走から救われた。 その間のアメリカ国内は、国外で戦争介入していても国内では民族間の争いやウーマンリブ運動など絶え間なかったから国民の目も一層厳しかった。 まあ現在も沈静化はしていてもトランプさんは危ういけど。 もしアメリカが単一民族国家だったら、昔のあの国やあの国みたいに国外での暴走は免れなかったかもしれない。 共産圏の台頭やアラブの石油の利権争いのみならず、EU統合にも待ったを掛けていたかもしれない。 ・ まあ書き出したらキリがないからまとめる。 この映画のオチがイイネ！ メリルさんを実話の主人公にした意味が分かった。 アメリカはまだまだヒラリーロスなんだなあ〜ってね。 ・ #ペンタゴンペーパーズ最高機密文書 #thepost ・ #スティーヴンスピルバーグ #stevenspielberg #ジョンウィリアムズ #johnwilliams ・ #メリルストリープ #merylstreep #トムハンクス #tomhanks ・ #ペンタゴンペーパーズ #pentagonpapers #ワシントンポスト #thewashingtonpost ・ #映画 #movie #film #ビバムビ (新宿ピカデリー)
