i always forget how to latin i got the nominative and accusative mixed up how embarrassing
hahaha it happens :D if I ever got confused (and I did) (many times) I remembered the accusative was the accusative because it usually has an "m" at the end
in which case, the M referred to my brother's name Matt
so I remembered it was the direct object because my mother clearly needed to be "direct" with my brother because he was up to no good
IT'S A WEIRD WORKAROUND BUT IT WORKED
CASES ARE HARD
