i havent even read the books all the way thru or seen beyond s2 but what the heck is going on in this show are this many ppl supposed to be dying at this rate

ASOIAF and Harry Potter are one of the few series that I actually do re-read on a yearly basis, so I maybe know the books better than any sane person should. 

As for your questions:

I have no fucking idea, the showrunners are out of control but there are some plot points (Jon Snow’s parentage) that they probably aren’t lying about.

It’s GRRM, of course this many people are supposed to be dying at this rate, he’s like Evil Santa who bathes in character blood
