why  are  you  so  angry?  the  question  reverberates  through  her  mind;  plays  on  an  endless,  torturous  loop  until  she  wants  to  scream  with  frustration.  doesn’t  he  already  know?  doesn’t  he  see  it  written  all  over  her  face?  

why  are  you  so  angry?  because  everything  is  wrong.  because  she  was  so  close  to  her  dream  she  could  taste  it.  because  she  had  a  plan,  and  that  plan  included  vanderbuilt  and  tim  and  getting  out  of  this  tiny  little  one-horse  town.  because,  instead,  it’s  just  tim.
