Experienced this earlier this week and last weekend........allowed the stress of dealing with certain people overwhelm me and make me anxious and unsettled. Yep, every once in awhile I forget WHO my peace rests in......but it ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, does not rest in the things this earth has to offer OR in the people that constantly disappoint us, people who viciously and without remorse, try and hurt us, or lash out because of their own lack of peace and contentment. I finally told myself, I refuse to let THEM change ME. All you can really do is give it to God and let Him do the sorting......whether in this life or in the next, the scales will balance out. #Peopledisappoint #Godneverwill
