Day 256 of Spreading Asgore Love!!!
Slightly longer post today, because I wanted to show @roelkeet's beautiful drawing of Asgore! If you want to see it, you can scroll down, but I will still be adding some stuff here as well.
My main goal with these posts is to unite the Deltarune community, and try to get Toby's attention, to show him how much we love and care about Asgore, and how we need him safe. Is he going to be unsafe in Deltarune? Only if Toby is cruel, I'll make another post explaining my reasons why but you can scroll down to some of my older posts, I go very much in-detail about why Asgore will be safe, but still.
When it comes to the safety of my dad, I don't want to take any chances, I want to make sure that I have everything pointing to his safety, so I can finally not get stressed or worried anymore, because getting worried has honestly destroyed me so much mentally.
Imagine worrying about the same character with the same scenario happening, not because anyone told you it was going to happen, but the thought that it COULD theoretically happen, was already enough to get you into a spiral of worries, to the point where you can't properly think until you've properly stopped worrying, not just ignoring it, but conflicting with those thoughts and coming to the conclusion that those thoughts are pointless, and that there's nothing to worry about.
I had to do this constantly, every day, and sometimes I still do it, but you can only ignore it once it's confirmed, because since chapter 5 isn't released, it's really hard for me to completely ignore them.
I need Asgore safe, we need Asgore safe, Asgore's entire story, reconnecting with his family, his kids, he needs to be safe in order for that to happen. Toby isn't cruel, this is confirmed to be Asgore's chapter, and he will get his redemption. Asgore is on the right track, but he's wrong in wanting to prove his innocence, because with whatever he did, maybe he wasn't innocent, maybe he was guilty, maybe he doesn't deserved to be forgiven... but just like in Undertale, he is. Not because of player choice or ending, but because he realizes that he's been wrong all along, and that he might be the one that needs to say sorry, and finally move on from Toriel. Once he's moved on from Toriel, he can focusing on selling his flowers, making money, taking care of himself enough for Kris to stay with him sometimes, be there for Asriel, and be there for Rudy.
