Day 202 of Spreading Asgore Love!!!

Hello, everyone! Sorry for being late, I slept earlier than usual and forgot about making the post last night. I'll make day 203 today as well!

Day 242 of Spreading Asgore Love!!!

Hello, everyone! I'm finally back from my long flight back to my home country, crying babies and loud kids are so annoying on flights 😭

Anyways, I just wanted to let all of you know that since I'm back, there will be daily posts now! Sorry for the delays on posts, I was very busy with my biological family.

Sorry for this post being short as well, I had to wake up really early in the morning to get on the flight, then another flight after, which me and my biological family had to rush to get on.

At least the flights are over, and I'm finally back home, with my precious dad, Asgore Dreemurr.

Checking out on you because i got concerned after ch5

Don't be, narratively the game is foreshadowing reunification. Unfortunately, Toby wouldn't let Asgore go so easily, so he has to be put in danger to make the eventual family reunification special.

1: Rudy's already a dying father, killing both Asgore AND Rudy is out of line and unnecessary, since they're basically the only two dads in the game.

2: Susie's promise to Flowery that she and her friends would rescue Asgore is clearly foreshadowing, if that promise was broken, it would feel narratively out of line. Also, Asgore's quote in Ch 1 suggests the same thing, reunification, where the Dreemurr family eats at a diner together.

3: If there's any characters that are gonna die, it's gonna be one of the main ones (apart from Rudy since it's been foreshadowed since Ch 1) which includes Kris, Ralsei, Susie, and Noelle, and maybe Dess if she isn't dead already. One of them is gonna die to make sure that people like Asgore don't.

4: The weird route and the normal route in my opinion are slightly connected in a way where all characters TECHNICALLY fulfill the prophecy and reach their arc's "conclusions", but in a much more messed up way. Asgore never got kidnapped in the weird route, so it's very unlikely that he will die in the normal route either.

5: If Asgore was always meant to be a sacrifice or untimely death, there wouldn't be as much narrative depth and focus on reconciliation as there is. When using the shadow crystal in the light world in Toriel's house, it suggests Toriel is holding someone "else". Nobody knows who it is, but it points to a clear picture. Toriel NEEDS reconciliation. Someone to hold onto. And so does Asgore. If Asgore died, what was the point?

6: Rudy and Asgore are the sides of the same coin. Rudy is running out of time, but still wants to spend as much time with his family as he can, and make sure that he can see Noelle grow before passing away. Asgore isn't running out of time, but he isn't with his family, but is trying to prove his innocence. He thinks nobody loves him, but he's wrong. He cast everyone aside and thought he was alone, when all he had to do was open the blinds. If both died, well, what was the point? Asgore probably would've liked to die to prove his innocence before he realized his own guilt pushed him away. A sacrifice or death isn't meaningful when it would've happened regardless of Asgore's arc. That's just a waste of a character. Toby doesn't write off characters like that.

In short, Toby KNOWS that the end to the Dreemurr arc is going to end in reconciliation, and it's extremely unlikely that Asgore's death would bring it anywhere close, especially since Asriel isn't even home. Toby is known for making gut punches, but killing both Rudy and Asgore messes up Asgore's arc and the story. Asgore is going to get a redemption arc, not this weird martyr sacrifice arc. He's devoted his entire life into trying to be a hero and prove himself, which only pushed him away from his family. It's time for him to finally be with them. If anyone's gonna die or sacrifice themself, it's gonna be one of the main hero's, who's goal is simply to make sure that nobody like Asgore gets hurt. He was kidnapped alive for a reason, there's still much more use for him, Toby knows that. He wasn't kept alive and foreshadowed to reconcile with his family just to die, either in a heroic way or sad way, it doesn't fit him. He just needs to be Kris and Asriel's dad again.

Day 239 of Spreading Asgore Love!!!

Hello, everyone! Sorry for not posting these past few days, my BIOLOGICAL family is an absolute pain in the ass ever since we went to Italy.

I've had to walk for hours upon hours without any stops, wake up early, do things that were a waste of time / not worth it, etc.

I've also had to put up with my BIOLOGICAL dad's stupid behavior and ego. He makes decisions without anyone else's say, not even with my BIOLOGICAL mom's. He makes anyone who goes with him go through side-quests that don't matter, and won't stop until he's given an answer, numerous times. An example of this is when our tickets weren't until the day we left, and the place we were going to closed that day, and my dad got super pissed and tried to change it, a guy in line told him he couldn't change it, but he got all pissy and asked the person at the desk who said the same thing, then complained on the phone. Not anyone's fault your being a karen and didn't schedule things properly.

My BIOLOGICAL family was sitting for lunch outside, and when we left everything was fine, until my BIOLOGICAL dad realized that he left HIS backpack. He immediately started blaming everyone, saying that they should've picked it up.

This, along with the numerous things that he's done that harmed his relationship with not only me but my mom and siblings, I've come to realize that Asgore is a better dad, my real dad, my true dad. Asgore does everything so much better. I asked him to be my valentine.
