Never let it be said that I ever quit on anyone

There’s been some mud-slinging as of late, about me and the PCap 2019 Birthday Project. The story goes that I let @pepaldi down, and backed out on her. That is not the case. She came to me asking if I could edit, at which point, I volunteered to make the music tracks. Then she asked me what the idea for the theme should even be. Then she asked me to post the rules for the project. 

I realized that lots of people have a problem with me, and if that affected entries for Peter, then I’d step down, or do it for no credit, or help her find someone. What followed was summarily being kicked off and brought back in, until she finally said yes go ahead with the music, and so I did, only to be kicked off for the last time.

So this corner of the Capaldian (the one on twitter) fandom wrings their hands and talks about how no one should be left out or ostracized, when they pretty well know they did exactly that to me.

And ya know, that part is fine, I get it, people hate me. But never, ever let it be said I ever quit on anyone, much less Peter. That, I would never do. Karin, if you wanna consider this a callout, then so be it. If you’ve been lying that I left you in a lurch, you forgot to consider that screenshots are a thing. The second one is what went on facebook, where I do not hang out and could not defend myself. 

And now that I’ve cleaned out the closet, Ima just stay here and keep myself to myself.

I’ve just seen so many people hating on him on Twitter. Weird as hell. I’ve no idea why, I’ve always thought he seemed like a really decent guy! And I don’t remember him ever doing anything considered “problematic”

Hey @pepaldi,

Let me just begin with this:

I’m really sorry I didn’t make this post earlier! I’ve been so tired, still trying to tackle school and some big projects before the Winter Holidays began. Making this post was always at the back of my mind, but there were more important things that needed to be done first.

I received it several weeks ago, on the 20th of June. Funnily enough, my family were going to buy Hungry Jacks, and they check the mail before they go in the car.

They found it.

And took it with THEM.

AND SENT ME A PICTURE TO GET ME VERY EXCITED AND FRUSTRATED.

In any case, it came! It was a rainy week, so the card was a little bent from the rain. However, we soon laminated it, and now it’s going to be hung up on my wall! I have shown it off to some people in school. There was the completely confused question of, “Who’s that old man?” several times. I think I’m being judged as I speak for having Peter’s autograph, but that doesn’t matter!

Thank you so, so very much for the opportunity to participate in the Peter Package. I will never forget this. This is the first autograph I have ever received from any celebrity role model I have had in my life, and I shall cherish it for the days to come.

(My mother saw that I gushed over the handwriting on the envelope, so she cut it out and stuck it on the back of the card when it was laminated!)
