DAY SIX

10am: Pepper got a text with an invite from Johnny to the local pool and decided to invite along her coworkers. He thought it was a bit rude of her and insulted her, but they were back to pranking one another and making jokes in no time. She also managed to get good at the cannonball, not that it requires much skill really.

11-5pm: Pepper and her coworker Conner spent the majority of the afternoon inseperable in the pool, pulling pranks on one another and splashing around like children. Pepper decided that she likes Conner, and dragged him to the lounge area to work her charms on him. Upon revealing himself as a total geek, Pep knew she had this in the bag. Success!

DAY FIVE

10am: It’s a miracle of science! Pepper found a single coworker who actually seems kinda cute and doesn’t have kids! She introduced herself and began to flirt the only way she knows how- by swabbing his DNA and observing it to ensure he is a good biological candidate to father her future children. She did not tell him this though, thankfully.

2pm: Pepper made some modifications on her fancy schmancy freeze-ray and now it is able to transform objects! She lovingly named it with a name that is both fitting and professional: Pew-Pew.

7pm: Upon arriving home she tested it out on some of her duplicate My Sims Trophies. I didn’t manage to capture the moment of disaster when it caught fire :( but thankfully she put it out using the freeze function and avoided further problems. Also for some reason she changed into her everyday? She’s just full of mediocre surprises, this one.

DAY THREE AND FOUR consisted of starting her new career as a scientist and getting to know her coworkers, as well as recruiting some willing volunteers (victims) to help her try out her new inventions. Pepper did some scouting for a potential partner in the labs, but the majority of her coworkers were husbands or fathers. How boring.

Sidenote: I am starting to believe that the picture of them all in lab coats is foreshadowing for that one part of the sims 2 opening cutscene where the scientists are all dancing like gorillas. Maybe it’s because I’ve never actually played through this career before. That or I’m losing it already on day four. OR I’m missing The Sims 2. All possible answers.

DAY TWO

10am: Pepper got an invite to the Flea Market from one of her neighbours and invested all of her starting-out-funds into My Sims trophies. The vendor seemed confused as to why she needed all of them, but happy nonetheless!

12pm: Now that she was broke from spending all of her money on useless merchandise, Pepper decided to sell what she had in her inventory. This consisted of a frog, some almost-spoiled orange juice and a robot upgrade part she found in the trash. Nobody knows who bought the orange juice, but I’m sure they had their reasons for purchasing.

5pm: No day would be complete without working on that mischief skill and Summer Holiday seemed like an easy target. That may have been misguided. They now dislike each other immensely. Whoops.

DAY ONE

12pm: Pepper manages to annoy the whole welcome wagon with pranks, but Johnny Zest would not leave for some reason???? They did become friends (!) although you wouldn’t know it by their faces, tbh

7pm: Vladdy walked past just as Pepper was finishing her poor-quality salad. She was not in the mood for being hissed at, and decided it would be very smart to pick a fight with a vampire :) *spoiler: she lost*

10pm: Karaoke Bars are the coolest places to show off a black eye. It’s just science.

apricotmoodlet’s back and with more story commitment issues than ever- the NSB edition!

This right here is little Pepper Berriwell, the first generation (and founder) of my attempt at the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge. Truly a 20-year-old ball of rage, mischief and unrivalled scientific knowledge.

I’ll be using predominantly gameplay screenshots and of course it wouldn’t be me if I had an upload schedule, so if you are like me and will read ya sims stories in one go months after they release you may be in for a treat heh. The main inspiration for beginning this was a resurgence of the challenge on youtube and my recent birthday for which I got my first ever graphics tablet (be still my heart!) and realised holy sh*t i can actually edit things now really easily??? of course, while I get used to it don’t expect masterpieces, but we all start at skill level 1 kiddos. 

I’ve already played a fair bit with her and I am playing in the Simlicy save file because it’s one I’ve never tried before and I figured might as well throw myself in at the total deep end (plus, have you seen those builds???!!! *chefs kiss*)
