A lot of rough things happened over the weekend and I don't know about y'all, but I have been feeling pretty overwhelmed sometimes bordering on hopeless about the current state of things.
Anyway, here's a picture of my cats being real cute. It won't solve anything, but it made me smile. Maybe it'll make you smile. Feel free to reblog with things that have recently made you smile if you feel so inclined 💕 I could definitely use the positivity!
Still working on getting Pepper inside!!!! She came to the front door today and meowed until I came out to feed and pet her. She's such a sweet little thing. Absolutely pathetic face though (just like Oscar!)
Just in case anyone is curious, Pepper went to the vet this morning, and the vet said she is 150% healthy and a diamond of a cat. She has mild arthritis in her hips and is quite constipated, is a little underweight, and needs her teeth cleaned. But otherwise she is a gem.
Vet suggested feliway to help with her anxiety, and I'm supposed to give her pain killers for the next week or so.
I am quite relieved because I have been worried about her!!! But no she's good she's just being bratty 🤷
My baby girl Pepper is showing signs of kidney disease. I’m trying not to panic because we caught it early and can hopefully turn things around, but we lost our boy Elwood to kidney disease in 2020 and that was awful. I’ve had Pepper since I moved to Madison in 2014, she’s survived 2 moves, suddenly gaining 2 brothers, the pandemic, and then the addition of a two month old kitten to her space. She’s a tough cookie. We’re going to be fine. Hopefully.
