Passion Share: Cat Garnett
Passion Share: Cat Garnett
Who is this again? Catherine Garnett heads up Research and Public Relations here at redpepper.
What is Cat’s passion? Making beautiful music.
Tell us a little more! Over the past few years, Cat has taught herself how to read music, write music, write songs and play guitar. Oh, and she can sing like you wouldn’t believe. For Cat’s passion share, she showed us exactly what she can do by doing it. If you want to hear an original song from our very own @MusicCityCat, you'll have to talk her into singing it the next time you see her!

Passion Share: Yancey Kenna
Who is this again? Yancey Kenna is a Community Content Manager and Social Strategist here at redpepper.
What’s Yancey’s passion? Local music! She’s a huge fan of the Nashville music scene.
Tell us a little more! Nashville is rapidly expanding and attracting a variety of talented musicians– Yancey talked about how we are no longer just a city of country music. It can be easy to take "Music City" for granted, but it is important to support our local artists that help make our city so great. Supporting local doesn't simply mean you buy your food from your local farmer, you can support local by attending a concert in Nashville. Yancey also tied things into redpepper by recommending that, when applicable, we try and feature local music in our videos that often gain national exposure. This way we highlight not only our creativity, but that of the city we love.
How can we find out the details? Check out this awesome playlist Yancey made filled with Nashville artists.

Passion Share: Jeremy Mitchell
Who is this again? Jeremy Mitchell is a UI Designer here at redpepper. He also makes some swell films.
What’s Jeremy’s passion? Baseball. Particularly hand made baseball bats.
Tell us a little more! Jeremy started Mitchell Bat Company at the end of 2013, and hand paints the bats in a variety of colors. He has a love for baseball history and uses that to inspire his work. A portion of the proceeds from his company go to a program called Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) that is sponsored by Major League Baseball.
How can we find out the details? Check out Mitchell Bat Co.’s website (their Instagram is especially cool).

We Grow Hard.
Passion shares are the newest thing around here, so we figured we’d explain.
Picture this: It's Friday at the redpepper offices. It's 8:45a.m. Our coffee is just starting to do the trick.
One of us hops up following the weekly redbit to share about a personal project, growth area or talent we’ve been developing. Everyone else looks on with smiles of wide-eyed admiration. (Yes, it is as magical as it sounds.)
A passion share’s purpose is to communicate what each of us is good at, working on getting good at, and what we're passionate about — other than what we might do at our desks all day — so that we can all gain a better idea of what talents and desires are thriving (or hiding) here at redpepper.
We want to share our passions even further by bringing them to you, so keep an eye right here to see more posts highlighting individual shares and learn more about what we’re all really made of.
We’re tagging all passion shares — both those presented on Friday mornings and those that peppers are pursuing in real time — by adding #peppermade to any posts here, on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. You know, just in case you’re interested and need to find some inspiration all quick-like.
We hope you enjoy seeing what we’re into. And, like us, we hope you’re always encouraged to never, ever stop pursuing what makes you happy.
