Hi! You wrote a klance fic where keith was a dragon and I keep thinking about this story all the time because I found the world you created to be so interesting & exciting. So I recently found the fic again and noticed it had been orphaned, which was sad because yeah I was really into the story. But I just wanted to tell you I appreciated it And I don't know why you lost interest but, if you remade this story into an original somdy I would be so down to read it bcs I can't stop thinking about it

This is super sweet of you to say, and oh gosh I’m very very sorry if I took forever to reply to this because this account has been basically dead for over a year. I am very thankful that you told me this, I’m really sad I ended up disappointing you, and I don’t have any plans on completing or returning to write more of Sweetness of a Storm, and I’m really sorry about that.

Well the long story short is basically that I felt really betrayed by what happened with Voltron as a show in its later seasons, and I didn’t want to create content for something that queer-baited, with the actual gay rep ultimately treated poorly and culminated into nothing.I did have more for Sweetness of a Storm written that I didn’t post, and I recently started doing more on my patreon, so one of the things I have on there is everything I have for SoaS, past and present, including unposted chapters. I didn’t really ever finish or polish them up, so they’re extremely rough and they hop around a lot, but if you’re interested in reading more that I have written, that’s an option. I’m not trying to advertise this like “Oh, sorry I ignored your message for a million years (I’m sorry, I never check this inbox), please pay me money.” If you really really want the chapters and can’t or don’t want to afford them on patreon (fair enough, I too am broke and I Understand), you can contact me on Twitter which I actually routinely check (@bittercalypso) so I can forward you the word doc or I guess try here again and I’ll try to remember to check it. I just don’t spend any time on my Tumblr here anymore (current art posts aside. I literally just upload, and abscond.)And as a blanket statement for everyone, I’m more than willing to give another author permission to adopt Sweetness of a Storm if they have ideas on continuing it.

you're kind of reminding me how amazing voltron fandom was in the beginning in terms of being a creative outlet. so many cool AUs and headcanons and alien concepts

yeah, it was amazing and I’m glad so many good stuff was born at teh beginning. I’m glad I reblogged so much stuff because ow I can go back in my archive and bath in the good feels of 2017 when there were no shipwars and no bullshit. the fandom was 1/4 or less of what it was at the end of S7 I think.
