Ron frowned at Lavender’s question, avoiding her gaze, whether it was to think or out of intimidation. It was true, they had really been something. Dating Lavender had been… intense. It was his first romantic relationship, those his motivations behind dating Lavender were messed up in the first place. It had been out of revenge first, just to spite Hermione, though after a while he grew to like the attention. Towards the end, it had become too much and Ron’s feelings had been temporary.
“I mean, yeah,” he shrugged, trying to seem indifferent. “I liked you, Lav, it was a lot of fun.” And he smiled at that. She had been so passionate, a fire raging out of control. Who knew it’d be the reason he left too. “But, y’know, it’s in the past now.”
