he loves her, he has for the longest time. he wants her to be happy more than anything, he doesn’t want to hold her back & ask her to stay with him, so he won’t. he’ll be the cliche lover waiting by the phone while his lover is off at war ( nancy’s neck is always under threat. people don’t like genuis’ like her sneaking through their business. she may as well be at war. ).
