Here is a cute post vox machina idea, Vex and Percy’s kid goes missing and when they go out to look for them, they can find them. so when they return they find Vax holding the baby and tells them he found the baby for them before he leaves again

It was a bit of a commotion in Whitestone, the nurses and tutors and parents searching for the mischievous little ones.

Vex and Percy searched high and low but to no prevail. Until they heard a raven’s croak outside the window, flying in the direction of the orchard garden. Leading her husband by the hand, Vex raced in its direction. “It’s a hunch, but I think I know where they are.”

Once they reached the gardens, both were met with a heart-warming sight. Their small Vesper having her hair braided by the raven companion, and the smaller you held gently by a Knight, in masked decor and all.

“Sister….they remind me of us so long ago.”

Mother’s Day

Spending the day with Vex, studying all the trinkets and artifacts in Whitestone, leads to a full fledged day of listening to your mother’s victories. Over tea in the drawing room, you ask about her life, her adventures with your father, the brushes they’ve had with gods and the members of your family you hadn’t had the privilege of meeting. You end the day at one of the makeshift arrow ranges, seeing her skills and trying them out for your own

Father’s Day

You were looking through the mementos of the past, and snooping around his laboratory. Watching you fondly as you examine his contraptions, Percy tells you the story behind each one. One story leads to another as he talks about his past, his home, how he met your mother, and that the day you and your siblings arrived were the happiest ones of his life. Though it’s Father’s Day, Percy insists on giving you a gift as well since there’s been too many without you here.

Slight twist with the Lost reader being Percy’s daughter. Scanlan was secret keeper for group when sending reader away as a babe. Vax comes to Scanlan in a dream. Reader is back and in danger. He needs to find reader and bring her home. Like Uncle like niece reader is a bard by trade and rubbing with Bell’s Hells. How will the meeting take place in a local pub. Will Scanlan recognize the mark he gave her (Raven feathers and snowdrops with the Slayer’s take mark) or something else entirely?

You heard the exclamation in the small tavern as the gnome made his way to your table, exclaiming of his dream, the past works, how he recognizes your mark, and that you all have to leave quickly

Dorian - he’s heard of Vox Machina (everyone basically has), and you know the bard???? He’s your uncle???

Fearne - well, this gnome seems panicked but by any chance does he happen to know any good hits along the way? What? He didn’t think you were coming alone were you?

Laudna - listening intently and has already made up her mind. Seems as if whatever’s chasing you doesn’t know what she’s got in store. They’re going with you.

Imogen - well, seems like Lord E is going to need to find someone to take on other duties because she’ll follow Laudna and even she’s going with you

Ashton - passes a drink to get this gnome to call down, and then wants to hear it all…..Done! They’re helping you out.

Fresh Cut Grass - why does this gnome seem so familiar in some way? Aside from that, he’s listening intently as Laudna is and hopes things can be set right with this

Chetney - well this young-ish whipper-snapper better stop all that yelling, but truth be told, given how quickly you all have clicked maybe a little werewolf scare to whatever’s chasing you might be helpful

Orym - he knew some of the stories from before per Keyleth but you’re related to the famed group??

The idea of Vax’ildan being the patron of a de rolo child makes me so happy, he just has to keep the from doing a ton of dumb stuff that would end up in them getting in trouble

It’s a combo of

1) the de Rolo legacy has had too many brushes with Death but still remain victorious

And

2) “if my sister found out they’re hurt, she’s gonna kill me all over again”

Here is an angst idea, Vex and Percy’s child ran away because the child saw themselves as not good enough for their parents and maybe they didn’t make the best choices when they left so they are afraid to go back home to see Vex and Percy again

Know this!! It’s arduous choice to make, but you decide to go back home. You don’t want to have those regrets in life where you could’ve made something right but never took the chance.

When you get back home, get ready for the most emotional reunion ever!! When you’re spotted coming back home, they’re both racing out to meet you.

Hugging, holding you close. They’re never letting go. You let your tears fall freely over the remorse of your choices but relief to be back home safely. As you try to manage words past your sobbing hiccups, pouring out apologies.

“I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness but-!”

Percy cuts you off as he looks intently in your eyes. “You’re our child. Nothing you say or do will ever cease the love we have for you. We just wanted you to come back safe.”

An idea for you Keyleth and Vax’s, Percy and Vex’s kid being born blind. I think that they would be very protective somewhat coddle their kid. They have a seeing eye raven in their hair squawking at and attacking people who tease them for being blind. The raven also keeps them out of trouble pulling and pecking at them to get them away from danger and preventing trouble. If the kid doesn’t listen the raven will fly off and notify the appropriate mom of this.

Yesss! I do see this kid trying to question the “why??” but I also see each respective mom helping them find their strength too.

The raven becomes a pseudo-guardian type to the kid, and I could see it (Vax) being uber protective of them. Being the listening type if the kid ever wants to rant

And this is just me rambling a bit more….

If this kid ever got older and picked up (fighting) skills….

I could see a Perchalia/Vaxleth kid being a combination of Daredevil, Chirrut from Rogue One and Jason Mamoa’s character (Baba Voss) from See
