I can’t wait to go down in history as “that one crazy autistic bitch that posted a 3 hour long fully sound edited/designed reading of their own cringe af fanfic for a ship no one else makes content for as their first YouTube video” that ends up getting me somehow even further estranged from the majority of the R&C fandom over it.

The audio is recorded and edited, it’s just that OpenShot is a brat bc my iMac is almost 10 years old and I’m too dumb for Shotcut or any other free/opensource video editing software ;; but I’ll get that video out eventually I swear but I might just put together the audio and release the podfic in audio only format first since that part is done, depending on how hard it is to upload on Spotify or some shit.

So I may as well put a poll here: Would you want to wait for the video/visuals of the fanfic reading (which could take months or longer) or get the full audio in the meantime? (Which would take less than a week) and no there is no “option 3: don’t share it” because I’m determined to taint the internet with this podfic’s existence. Soooo……..

So… I’m making this post because I’m experiencing hardcore PercivAlister brainrot— so much so that I’m writing yet another fanfic!

Unlike my old fic, this one isn’t self-indulgent OOC trash (at least not imo) and the amount of time and energy I’ve been investing into it is UNREAL. It’s my first fanfic that I feel actually proud of for the plot, and if you want to read it, here it is! (*Note: Percy is OOC in the way that he's not immediately down for killing, but I tried to keep him fairly IC character-wise, at least as far as his personality goes)

Also, I made a cover for it, and I plan to do even more art for the chapters! I’m so passionate about this fic and if even one person takes the time to read it that would make me SOOOOO happy!! But even if no one does, I am having a BLAST with this hyperfixation again, and that’s the only part that truly matters. I’ll continue to create for it, even if only for me uwu

I’m really toasty rn and I just wanna say that I have a headcanon that Percy likes soft textures (and is lowkey envious of fur) and if he’s in distress, Alister lets him fidget with the floof on the end of his tail bc Percy finds the sensory input of the fluff extremely soothing anyway I’m about to crash and uh yeah that’s it bye

FINALLY DONE THIS THING

THE LATEST ART FOR BETWEEN FINE LINES IS COMPLETE. I absolutely HATED the art for chapter 5 so I made another piece that I think is easily the best art I've made for this ship/the fic. It took over a week of constant work and I'm so hype that it's done. I'm posting the censored/noise-filtered version here, but if you want to see the uncensored/unfiltered version, it's in the fic.

I think my favorite panel is the bottom middle one. I captured the EXACT expression I wanted and I LOVE how his eyes look. I'm so happy with this aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I think Percival Tachyon fans are so unhinged bc WE KNOW how much others hate him WE KNOW he is an objectively bad character and WE DO NOT CARE HE IS OUR LITTLE SKRUNKLY AND WE LOVE HIM ANYWAY

In other words, my Percy and Percivalister hyperfixation has returned. I will now turn into a ravenous animal and create even more art for the greatest fic I’ve ever written.
